Sandy Pines Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Demotte, Indiana.
Sandy Pines Golf Club first opened for play in 1973. The course was designed by William J. Spear. The course was renovated and lengthened in 2005. The renovation was designed by Tim Nugent.
This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and there are many trees that can affect your shots alongside the fairways. The course now has four challenging par three's, ten par fours and four par fives. Testing your skills on our tight fairways, strategically placed hazard locations and expanded yardage will be challenging to even the most experienced golfer.
Championship tees: par-72, 6,801 yards, 72.2 / 135
Blue tees: par-72, 6,276 yards, 69.8 / 129
White tees: par-72, 5,729 yards, 67.3 / 125
Red tees: par-72, 5.035 yards, 68.3 / 122

Will say it very quickly. Finest course within the Crown Point, Indiana area. We play almost 30 plus courses and this is one of the top five with courses such as Odyssey, Whitaker Woods, Coyote Crossing, Cinder Ridge and it is within 25 miles of CP. Staff is outstanding with Brad at the helm. Course is enjoyable but challenging and it holds water so well with rain. Very lush this past season. We will be back and play it a couple more times. Food and drink are good and pro shop is outstanding. Only concern is that they keep making the course the best and are slowly letting prices creep upward.

I travel every single week with group of senior golfers from cp area. We have already played 20 plus courses this season. Sandy Pines is the finest course close to us in our area and is getting better each year under direction of Brad. Course is fun, demanding with great conditions and greens. They always treat us warmly and make us feel welcome. Food and drink is outstanding. We normally would have already played this course 4-5 times but that is now the problem. The rates for seniors , even with special coupons, have just kept getting higher. Now the most expensive in the area except for Lost Marsh. We still greatly like the course and it's warmth toward us and conditions of all at the course.

I currently live in the Carolinas and whenever I get back to Indiana I do my best to play at Sandy Pines. Over the past 6 years the course has improved and matured into one of the best I have ever played.

Absolutely the finest course close to Crown Point in the immediate area. Brad and his staff have done great things including the course, clubhouse, pro shop and food in the bar and grill. My friends and I, all seniors, play courses of great quality all over in Ind, Ill and Mi. This is one of the top courses. It is challenging and is always in tremendous shape. We always play this course at least 5 times each season and even more. They welcome you with a great course and hospitality.

Great course but greens were in terrible condition, possibly due to recent heat/drought. Fairways, tee boxes, were impeccable as were the carts and onboard computers. All the staff seemed really nice and friendly and the other golfers where as well, this is NOT a Nob Hill course! Food was very good and our group of two threesomes and two foursomes had a great time other than the aforementioned bad greens. we will go there one more time before fall and hopefully they will have inproved

This course is becoming the most aesthically appealing course in northwest Indiana. The course is beautifully laid out, challenging, and the owners continue to make significant upgrades to the course. The personnel we encountered were friendly, helpful and made us feel welome! It is the best kept secret in our part of Indiana.

Excellent condition of entire course but the fairways were exceptional. A real pleasure to play. Clubhouse lunch was very good also and fairly priced.
